Temperature Excursions Specialist – Clinical Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a Temperature Excursions Specialist to join our clinical supply chain team. The role focuses on managing temperature excursions across storage, transport, and clinical sites, ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations and supporting clinical trial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage temperature excursions for pharmaceutical products during storage, transport, and at clinical sites.
• Handle deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with cross‑functional and multicultural teams to ensure timely and compliant clinical supply distribution.
• Maintain documentation and quality records in line with “right‑first‑time” standards.
• Utilize Veeva or similar clinical/pharma tools to track and report temperature data.
• Support inventory management, packaging, and distribution activities within the clinical supply chain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or clinical trial environments.
• Proven experience in temperature excursions management.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality processes.
• Experience handling deviations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
