Technical Product Manager - Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP)

About the role

1GLOBAL, a global mobile communications provider founded in 2022, is hiring a Technical Product Manager for its Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) team, which owns the product direction and platform capabilities behind its eSIM RSP services. This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon, focused on the Consumer SGP.22, SGP.41 (IFPP) and M2M SGP.02 capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for RSP capabilities across Consumer SGP.22, SGP.41 (IFPP) and M2M SGP.02.
• Translate GSMA RSP standards, customer needs and commercial priorities into clear product requirements for engineering teams.
• Prioritise roadmap initiatives that improve eSIM profile download, lifecycle management and operational reliability.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, security, operations and commercial teams to deliver compliant, scalable RSP platform capabilities.
• Manage product decisions around SM-DP+, SM-DS, LPA, API and portal capabilities.
• Drive go-to-market readiness for new RSP features through documentation, operational processes, support models and stakeholder communications.
• Own backlog quality, release scope, acceptance criteria and trade-off decisions for complex technical delivery across distributed teams.
• Monitor eSIM market trends, GSMA specification evolution, compliance requirements and competitor offerings.

Required profile

• Experience managing or using an RSP platform, particularly SGP.22, from a vendor, carrier or MVNO perspective.
• Product management experience for technical platforms, APIs and telecom products.
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmap prioritisation and release scope for complex platform capabilities.
• Proven ability to partner with engineering, architecture, security, operations and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience defining product success metrics for reliability, activation, lifecycle performance, adoption or operational quality.
• Experience delivering products in regulated, standards-driven or security-sensitive environments.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SM-DP+, SM-SR, SM-DS, LPA, eUICC, EID and eSIM profile lifecycle concepts.
• Strong backlog management skills, including trade-offs between technical and commercial priorities.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to executive, commercial, operational and engineering audiences.

Nice to have: GSMA certification or interoperability experience, mobile operator or MVNO integration experience, API and developer portal experience, knowledge of SGP.31/SGP.32, and experience with distributed teams across countries or time zones.
