Team Lead - Software Testing Project

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a Team Lead for a client in Lisbon, Portugal. The client is the largest quality assurance company in the world and is hiring staff for a localization/software-testing project in partnership with one of the world's largest tech providers. The Team Lead works using linguistics and technical expertise, reporting directly to the Site Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Be in charge of all team projects and initiatives, managing between 5 and 15 trained employees and covering all areas of management.
• Provide ongoing mentorship to the team and act as a source of knowledge and technical mentor.
• Handle team communications, including ongoing reports and updates to stakeholders, and ad-hoc project management tasks.

Required profile

• Strong software background (developer, data, quality control, QA, T3 technical support, etc.).
• Solid experience directly managing teams of at least 7 people.
• Assertive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to identify and resolve inefficiencies within the team and project.
