Systems Administrator

About the role

Air Apps, a Lisbon-founded company building an AI-powered personal and entrepreneurial resource planner, is looking for a Systems Administrator. You will manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, user access and SaaS tools so that employees can work securely and efficiently. The role covers device management, network security, access control and IT support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services and internal systems.
• Oversee user access, account provisioning and identity management across platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta and Azure AD.
• Ensure network security, endpoint protection and data encryption policies are in place.
• Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools such as Slack, Zoom, Notion and Atlassian.
• Implement IT security best practices, including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.
• Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding by setting up and deactivating accounts.
• Automate IT operations, workflows and system monitoring, and maintain software licenses, compliance requirements and IT documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to employees.

Required profile

• Around 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration or IT support.
• Experience managing cloud-based corporate IT environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Strong understanding of IT compliance and data privacy regulations (GDPR, SOC 2).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Required skills

• Identity and access management tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud)
• Endpoint management solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji or similar MDM platforms)
• Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls and zero-trust models
• IT automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus
