System Administrator (On-site, Porto)

About the role

Syffer is looking for an experienced System Administrator to provide on‑site IT support for a banking client in Porto. The position is fully on‑site, requiring five days a week in the client’s office.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day Windows system administration and support at the client’s location.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft services such as Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
• Manage backup solutions using Veeam and antivirus protection with Symantec SEP.
• Configure and monitor Cisco wireless networks and Fortigate firewall rules.
• Ensure the stability and security of Windows Server environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows systems administration.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Systems Administration, including AD, Exchange, and Office 365.
• Hands‑on experience with Veeam backup, Symantec SEP, Cisco wireless, and Fortigate firewalls.
