System Administrator

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join its global engineering services team. You will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of both Linux and Windows infrastructures across virtualized and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and evolve server systems and underlying infrastructure.
• Manage virtualized environments using platforms such as Hyper‑V or VMware.
• Monitor performance, ensure high availability, and resolve incidents promptly.
• Implement security enhancements and follow best‑practice guidelines.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Proven experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting and incident‑resolution abilities.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
