Supply Officer

About the role

As a Supply Officer within Airbus Global Business Services, you will manage the supplier portfolio for our manufacturing and engineering operations. You will work closely with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain flows and support Airbus' transformation towards digitalised, standardised processes.

Key responsibilities

• Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing and future digital tools.
• Anticipate risks, drive mitigation actions and control demand and forecasts.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and external suppliers.
• Prioritise supply chain activities and challenge supplier performance.
• Lead supplier recoveries and define optimal ordering strategies.
• Specify and implement process automation.
• Use data‑management tools to inform decisions.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering or Design Engineering.
• Experience with digital solutions/tools, transnational work environments and MRP/SAP a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, teamwork ethic and communication skills at all business levels.
• Negotiation level English; German language a plus.
• Project management and LEAN experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and flexibility.
• Education in supply chain management (e.g., APICS) a plus.
