Supervisor de Restaurante e Bar

About the role

The Restaurant and Bar Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets at our Occidental Faro hotel, ensuring high‑quality service, cost control and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the processes defined for service development.
• Achieve sales targets and generate department revenue by planning promotional actions and training the team.
• Organise and coordinate all restaurant and bar services.
• Control costs and optimise the use of available resources.
• Lead, train, motivate and develop the team to maintain high performance.
• Monitor service quality and adapt it to guest expectations following management guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Portuguese (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong communication and active‑listening skills.
• Ability to work in a team, delegate tasks, plan and organise work.
• Problem‑solving capability, decisive attitude and commercial awareness.
• Professional personal presentation.
