About the role

Join the Barceló Group as a Housekeeping Cleaner in our Occidental Faro hotel. You will ensure that public areas are spotless, safe, and welcoming for guests, following the standards set by management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning supplies, tools, equipment and machines for daily tasks.
• Clean, tidy and maintain all common areas, checking the condition of installations and furniture.
• Assist guests with requests, direct specific issues to the appropriate departments, and handle lost‑and‑found items according to internal procedures.
• Collect, clean and organize materials used during work, transport dirty laundry to the laundry, and complete service logs and reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or housekeeping role (preferred).
• Fluent Portuguese (mandatory) and basic English (preferred).
• Knowledge of the hotel sector and strong customer orientation.
• Team‑player with responsibility, dynamism, proactivity, attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills and flexible availability for shift work.
