Store Manager for Retail Store in Porto

About the role

We are opening a new Carhartt WIP store in Porto and are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the location. The role combines operational oversight, sales performance, and team development to ensure the store meets its commercial targets while delivering the brand’s high‑standard customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure overall performance aligns with company goals.
• Drive sales by training, mentoring and providing feedback to the sales team.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Implement promotions, sales campaigns and visual‑merchandising standards according to brand guidelines.
• Handle store administration, policy compliance and reporting on buying trends, customer needs and profitability.
• Maintain the store’s visual appearance and condition in line with Carhartt WIP standards.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to optimise inventory.

Required profile

• Previous retail management experience in a comparable‑size operation.
• Strong interest in fashion and awareness of market trends.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid organisational abilities and a commitment to customer service.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
