Steward – Busboy (Utility Cleaner)

About the role

The Steward (also known as Copeiro) supports daily hotel operations by ensuring all kitchen, food‑and‑beverage and laundry areas remain clean and functional. This full‑time, on‑site position is essential for delivering a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen, dining, and laundry areas, including dishes, utensils, and linens.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens between departments efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold company policies.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures.
• Professional appearance and communication.
• Willingness to collaborate with other departments and support team goals.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive motions.
• No formal education or prior experience required.
