Software Engineer – Java, Angular, AWS (Hybrid, Porto)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a hybrid project based in Porto, working one day per week on‑site. You will contribute to cloud‑native applications, handling both backend Java services and frontend Angular features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java applications using frameworks such as Quarkus or Spring Boot.
• Implement and support frontend components with Angular and TypeScript.
• Manage incidents in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and quick resolution.
• Integrate and work with Kafka for event‑driven architectures.
• Collaborate within the AWS ecosystem, deploying and operating services.
• Participate in data‑product initiatives, optionally leveraging Snowflake.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience in incident management for cloud‑based systems.
• Fluent English (C1 level) with strong communication skills.
