Software Developer – Backend & Web Services (C++)

About the role

The Software Developer will maintain, enhance, and optimize mission‑critical backend systems that process high‑volume transactional data. The role involves developing multi‑tier applications, web services, and system integrations while ensuring performance, stability, and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and optimize complex backend systems built primarily in C++.
• Design, develop, and support web applications, backend services, and multi‑tier architectures.
• Analyze high‑volume transactional workflows for efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate REST and SOAP APIs and other Web Services.
• Support Windows Services and related system components.
• Work with MS SQL Server to optimize performance, maintain data integrity, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with business owners and product teams to gather requirements and automate processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and configuration guidelines.
• Participate in structured development processes using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to release planning, sprint execution, and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• More than 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C++ in production environments.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting abilities.
