Social Media Specialist – French Speaker (Remote, Portugal)

About the role

Join Nestlé Business Solutions as a Social Media Specialist supporting French‑speaking customers. You will work remotely from Portugal, handling inquiries through written channels and social platforms while ensuring a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries via chat, email and phone, providing accurate and timely assistance.
• Identify customer needs, guide them through product features and promote new campaigns.
• Maintain relationships on social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Handle serious or sensitive complaints following Nestlé’s Consumer Complaints Handling procedures.
• Follow up to ensure issues are resolved and collect customer feedback.
• Update internal databases, maintain FAQs and knowledge‑base documents.
• Escalate or redirect queries to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
• Report product malfunctions, feature requests and workarounds to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Advanced spoken and written French and English.
• Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar role.
• Experience in community management on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Nestlé industry is a plus.
• Understanding of how CRM systems work.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
