Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability of its AI and analytics platforms. The role focuses on production environments, automation, observability, and incident response for AI‑powered services.

Key responsibilities

• Run and improve production environments supporting AI workloads, data pipelines, and analytics applications.
• Build software and automation for cloud infrastructure, model‑serving, and application services.
• Define and measure service level indicators, objectives, and error budgets for AI and analytics services.
• Implement end‑to‑end observability linking metrics, logs, traces, and data‑quality signals.
• Partner with data engineering and ML teams to production‑ready ingestion, transformation, training, and deployment workflows.
• Automate CI/CD and production‑readiness checks for data pipelines, model releases, and analytics dashboards.
• Lead incident response and post‑incident improvement for AI and analytics services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, software engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in production operations, SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, applications, networks, APIs, and distributed services.
• Excellent analytical problem‑solving and cross‑functional communication abilities.

Required skills

• Cloud infrastructure and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Distributed systems and scalable compute/storage services.
• Data processing and orchestration tools such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow, dbt, and data warehouses.
• CI/CD, DataOps or MLOps practices, automated testing, and controlled rollouts.
• Metrics, logging, tracing, and service‑level indicator analysis.
• Linux operating system expertise.
