Site Engineer – Constru, Oeiras

About the role

Constru, part of Grupo Casais, is looking for a Site Engineer to join the Oeiras business unit. The role covers planning, coordinating and controlling the construction site, ensuring quality, cost control and compliance with technical specifications, while working closely with the owner's team and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site activities, monitor execution, analyse costs and income and deviations, and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with support areas on equipment, materials and human resources needs
• Help draw up the Strategic Implementation Plan with DOP/DP/DUN
• Work with the owner's team on contract fulfilment, project changes and work plan adjustments
• Promote approaches that optimise results, reduce waste and increase value for the client
• Propose industrialisation solutions to clients to shorten schedules and improve quality control and traceability
• Respond to requests from regulators, inspections and external auditors
• Lead periodic meetings with the site team and subcontractors
• Develop reporting and routine cycles such as the fortnightly site plan, procurement maps and client/subcontractor autos
• Define, implement and monitor site plans and inspect Quality, Environment and Safety processes

Required profile

• Higher education (Master's degree); preferred courses: Civil Engineering, Architecture or similar
• Professional experience of 5 to 7 years
• Order of Engineers or Architecture certification
• English at advanced level
