Pre-Construction Technician (Preparation Technician)

About the role

Grupo Casais, a Portuguese construction company known for innovative and sustainable architectural projects, is looking for a Pre-Construction Technician (Preparation Technician) for its ConstruByGrupoCasais project in the Lisbon region. The role covers the preparation of production elements for the Casais Group, following the group's norms, quality standards and values.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and draw plans supporting the project and work, using a computerised drawing program, according to the project and the topographical survey
• Check architectural, structural and specialty mismatches between project elements, distribute drawings to site management and provide technical support and clarification
• Monitor work progress against technical specifications, revise the project dossier, control documents and organise drawings by project stage
• Digitise and classify project documents in a digital process management system (Procore or other) and train the construction team in its use
• Draw up supporting documentation and help site management prepare consultation dossiers for subcontractors
• Build BIM models, renderings and virtual simulations where appropriate to detect incompatibilities and improve on-site communication
• Take part in preparing the strategic execution and operational plans
• Monitor and inspect quality and safety processes under the Quality, Environment and Safety System

Required profile

• No previous experience required
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience
• Level 3, 4 or 5 education; preferred courses: architecture, engineering or similar
• Intermediate English
