Service Representative

About the role

The Service Representative works in the Claims Contact Center, providing assistance to insured individuals and claimants who contact the company regarding their insurance policies. The role involves handling inbound calls, processing claim‑related information, and supporting the claims team to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route calls from policyholders, claimants, adjusters, and supervisors related to claim follow‑up.
• Document all interactions and actions in the claims management system.
• Receive, digitize, and index client‑submitted documents for each claim.
• Create new claims when necessary and communicate the claim number to the caller.
• Schedule and record appointments for SRO claims and request inspections through the system.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying.
• Follow standard operating procedures and ensure processes are executed as planned.
• Participate in special projects or tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of insurance products and company lines of business.
• Fluent in Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and ability to multitask under pressure.
