Senior VAT Analyst

About the role

As a Senior VAT Analyst at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, part of Discovery Land Company, you will lead the Group’s VAT compliance and strategy. You will work closely with finance, legal and external advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting and support the company’s growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical and advisory VAT compliance across the Group, coordinating with finance, legal and tax advisors.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, workpapers, schedules and calculations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Assist in defining and implementing the Group’s transfer pricing strategy.
• Support tax due‑diligence projects, focusing on VAT and indirect taxes for domestic and international transactions.
• Participate in tax audits and litigation, providing research, documentation and written memoranda.
• Collaborate with Tax Managers to develop and refine the Group’s overall tax strategy.
• Identify strategic tax planning opportunities and contribute to corporate projects, including tax models and agreement reviews.
• Conduct risk assessments related to tax compliance and propose mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Taxation, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Several years of experience in VAT compliance, indirect taxes and transfer pricing.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
