About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer (Python) – Senior Associate at PwC, you will drive digital transformation by designing, coding, and testing innovative software solutions. You will work within the Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and build strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Python‑based applications and standalone services extracted from legacy monolithic systems.
• Build event‑driven, serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and related services, and implement high‑throughput Kafka messaging pipelines.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, conduct code reviews, and maintain coding standards.
• Optimize data flows involving S3, queuing, and caching (e.g., Redis) and re‑architect high‑transaction systems for cloud‑native scalability.
• Mentor junior team members and manage client expectations throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent client management and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive learning attitude.
