Senior Software Engineer C++ (all genders)

About the role

TeamViewer is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in C++ to develop new features for its remote access, control and support solution. You will work in an agile, modern environment, contributing to platform‑independent functionalities and helping shape the future of digital workplace technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop platform‑independent functionalities for client and services using modern C++ (C++17+).
• Optimize and enhance software with efficient algorithms, asynchronous processing (lambdas, coroutines) and advanced technologies.
• Collaborate within a Scrum development team in a continuous integration environment.
• Ensure high‑quality, efficient implementation and maintain code excellence.
• Recommend and implement architectural and technology improvements to boost reliability, maintainability, scalability and performance.
• Monitor latest technical developments and initiate relevant improvements.
• Advise product owners on feasibility studies and provide time estimates for new functionality.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in object‑oriented development with C++ (C++17+, async processing, design patterns).
• Experience in parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, and MS‑SQL.
• Structured, analytical thinking, strong teamwork attitude and motivation to learn new technologies.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.
