Senior Regulatory Counsel (Retail)

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Senior Regulatory Counsel to join its Legal team and provide strategic legal advice on retail and savings products. The role partners closely with product and business teams to ensure that new and existing offerings comply with European financial regulations while supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the Retail and Savings teams, advising on legal and regulatory matters.
• Draft and review customer‑facing legal documents for retail and savings products.
• Help structure and expand product features while managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications.
• Engage with European and local regulators to secure approvals and maintain ongoing compliance.
• Lead complex legal matters with short turnaround times, balancing executional work and leadership responsibilities.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) with strong academic and law‑firm credentials.
• Proven experience advising on financial regulations in Europe, particularly PSD2 and CRD.
• Demonstrated experience with retail and savings products.
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset.
• Confidence making decisions amid ambiguity or incomplete information.
• Fluency in English.
