Senior Project Program Manager

About the role

Decskill is seeking a Senior Project Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across its European locations. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with financial targets while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce project plans, communication strategies, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Align financial execution with project objectives and deliverables.
• Maintain proactive, clear, and assertive communication with all stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and management information for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior project or program management within IT consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify and resolve risks and blockers.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Java Spring programming.
• Advanced SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Good programming practices: CI/CD, micro‑services, unit testing, version control.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or IBM Cloud.
• Containerization using Docker.
• Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, ALM).
