Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead modernization and legacy migration initiatives for large organisations. The role bridges business objectives with IT delivery, ensuring smooth transitions to modern platforms while minimising disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead modernization and legacy migration projects within large organisations.
• Coordinate business and operational stakeholders throughout transformation initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT delivery teams.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and governance.
• Drive change‑management activities and support business adoption.
• Monitor project progress and report to business and operational leadership.
• Facilitate communication across multiple teams and external partners when required.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in transformation and change programmes.
• Proven experience managing legacy system migration projects from a business/project‑management perspective.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and IT functions.
• Experience in large‑scale organisations, preferably in banking, telecommunications, utilities, public sector, social security, taxation or consulting.
• Fluent in Portuguese, French and English (mandatory).

Required skills

• PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP certification (or equivalent).
