Senior Product Line Support Engineer – Industrial Circuit Breakers

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is seeking a Senior Product Line Support Engineer to lead the Industrial Circuit Breaker portfolio. The role acts as an extension of the Technical Center, providing technical leadership for design, performance, qualification, compliance and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for manufacturing operations, including assembly and feeder processes.
• Drive resolution of product quality, yield and performance issues through structured root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Validate product designs, deviations and manufacturing changes to ensure compliance with UL, CSA and other applicable standards.
• Lead sustaining engineering activities and support Value Analysis/Value Engineering initiatives to achieve cost‑reduction goals.
• Collaborate with Technical Center engineers, product line marketing, quality, supply chain, suppliers and customers to ensure product excellence.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, instructions and visual aids.
• Initiate and manage engineering change requests for materials, processes and design updates.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering professional with extensive experience in product line support or sustaining engineering for industrial electrical products.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and provide technical coaching.
• Strong analytical mindset for root‑cause investigations and corrective implementation.
• Experience working with regulatory standards such as UL and CSA.
