Senior PAS-X Engineer – Pharmaceutical Automation

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior PAS‑X Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role focuses on Werum PAS‑X and ensures compliance with industry standards while optimizing production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and rollout of Werum PAS‑X systems across multiple sites.
• Manage automation projects from inception to delivery, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Ensure all automation activities comply with GMP, FDA and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to maximize uptime.
• Direct validation and qualification activities for automation solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical automation, with a focus on Werum PAS‑X.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations and industry best practices.
• Proven project‑management experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
