First Article Inspection (FAI) Quality Auditing Associate

About the role

Accenture is seeking a First Article Inspection (FAI) Quality Auditing Associate to join its aerospace and defense team in Santa Isabel, PR. You will support the delivery of FAI assessments, ensure compliance with AS9102 standards, and contribute to continuous quality improvement across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize, review, and deliver First Article Inspections for sustaining parts and development projects.
• Perform FAI assessments in accordance with AS9102 to verify customer requirements.
• Track metrics continuously to manage increasing FAI workload throughout the year.
• Develop and operate quality management systems that drive excellence and business performance.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using established quality methodologies.
• Provide operational‑excellence training and best‑practice guidance.
• Identify, assess, and manage enterprise risks with an integrated approach.
• Analyze performance measures and reports to ensure consistent, effective work execution.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship.
• Associate’s degree in engineering, science, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience in manufacturing, engineering, finance, or accounting, or 1 year experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated aerospace environment.

• Familiarity with AS9102 forms (1, 2, 3)
