Senior .NET Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team in Lisbon. You will work on enterprise‑scale applications, contributing to the full software lifecycle while helping shape the architectural direction of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Technical Architecture Office and ICT Team Leaders to deliver new functionalities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing .NET applications and services.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee software quality.
• Work with operations teams to deploy, configure, and monitor applications.
• Provide support, bug fixing, and incident management.
• Contribute to architectural improvements and participate in design phases of new products.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (both mandatory).

Required skills

• .NET (10+ years of experience) following structured coding standards.
• .NET Core.
• Angular or Blazor.
• Messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
• Backend‑for‑Frontend (BFF) architecture.
• SQL Server or Oracle with strong SQL skills.
• Domain‑Driven Design (DDD).
• Unit testing practices.
• Design patterns and clean‑code principles.
• Azure DevOps (pipelines, releases, CI/CD) and Azure environment.
• APIs and microservices.
