Senior .NET Core Backend Developer (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a senior .NET Core backend developer to join its Lisbon office on a hybrid schedule. You will work on modern micro‑service applications for a variety of clients, contributing to the full software lifecycle from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core services (including .NET 6/7/8).
• Implement micro‑service architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Apply software design patterns (SOLID, Singleton, Factory) to ensure clean, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET technologies.
• Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, ability to work both independently and within a team.
