Senior .NET Backend Developer (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

We are seeking a .NET Backend Developer to join our Lisbon team in a hybrid setup. You will design, develop and maintain backend services for multiple clients, working with modern .NET technologies and cloud‑native practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Design, implement and consume RESTful APIs following best‑practice service design.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including data modelling and query optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver micro‑services based solutions.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing (xUnit, NUnit) and code reviews.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Containerise applications with Docker and, where required, orchestrate with Kubernetes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of professional experience as a backend developer.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and ORM tools such as Entity Framework.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
