Senior Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist to lead Freight and Customs activities within our IS PC&L organization. In this strategic position you will coordinate global logistics operations, drive cost‑improvement projects and ensure seamless execution across plants and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize transportation and customs network design and achieve rate reductions in partnership with Corporate Logistics.
• Manage global Freight & Customs standards, processes and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and cost‑reduction programs through ECIP and MCIP savings funnels.
• Reduce premium freight usage and enforce proper authorisation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of logistics failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support plant and regional teams to meet yearly Freight & Customs targets (BBP).
• Ensure trade compliance in collaboration with corporate functions.
• Coordinate budgeting, strategic planning and execution of initiatives to meet Business Plan objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Management, International Relations, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in logistics, freight or customs within a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply‑chain and logistics processes, especially in operations and manufacturing contexts.
