Senior Linux Systems Administrator – OpenShift & Virtualization

About the role

Adentis is looking for an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join its Lisbon team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise Linux/Unix environments while supporting modern container and virtualization platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Linux/Unix systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage and support virtualized environments and OpenShift platforms.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents (L3 support).
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Infrastructure and Engineering teams to improve system reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Linux systems administration.
• Strong background in Unix, virtualization and container orchestration (OpenShift).
• Proven ability to work independently in demanding technical environments.
• Good command of English (B2+ level) for documentation and communication.
