Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Ergomed Group is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic and operational legal support across its global CRO business. The role ensures full compliance with laws and regulations while proactively managing legal risk and protecting the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert, timely legal advice on a broad range of topics affecting the business.
• Develop and implement legal strategies, including risk mitigation and defense aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee internal governance frameworks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Identify, assess, and manage legal risks related to operations, transactions, and strategic initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
• Manage disputes and litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and drive effective resolution.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators, authorities, and external legal counsel.
• Mentor junior legal team members and contribute to capability development.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise leadership on potential impacts.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic transactions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate law, preferably within the life‑science or CRO sector.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to convey legal concepts clearly across the organization.
