Senior IT Procurement Buyer – Lisbon

About the role

PrimeIT is seeking a senior IT Procurement Buyer to join its rapidly expanding team in Lisbon. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s sourcing strategy, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimise costs and define preferred suppliers.
• Negotiate and manage IT contracts, including Microsoft and SAP licensing agreements.
• Coordinate with SaaS providers and integrators to secure favourable terms.
• Reinforce supplier relationship management and drive continuous performance improvement.
• Ensure proper use of company sourcing tools and generate accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT procurement and contract negotiation.
• Proven ability to work with strategic partners and internal stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies and sourcing processes.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Negotiation of Microsoft licensing agreements.
• Negotiation of SAP licensing agreements.
• Experience with SaaS procurement.
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
