Senior IT Procurement Buyer – Hybrid (Lisbon)

About the role

PrimeIT is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Buyer to join its rapidly expanding team in Lisbon. This hybrid position (three days a week on‑site) focuses on optimizing technology spend, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal business stakeholders to understand technology needs.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and achieve cost synergies aligned with the GDI department roadmap.
• Manage supplier performance through continuous improvement and strategic partnership initiatives.
• Act as an ambassador for procurement policies, ensuring proper use of sourcing tools and accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Proven track record negotiating Microsoft and SAP license agreements.
• Experience with SaaS providers and system integrators.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end sourcing processes from specification to contract award.
