Senior Games QA Engineer

About the role

Miniclip is seeking a Senior Games QA Engineer to join its Portfolio Product Unit. This is a hands‑on Software‑Developer‑in‑Test position where testing is treated as a systems problem, not just a checklist. You will work closely with product, design and engineering teams to ensure the highest quality for live mobile games and bold experiments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the quality strategy, influencing testing, release and risk decisions.
• Design, build and maintain automated tests for client, backend and integration layers.
• Create internal testing tools, simulators and developer utilities to accelerate the team.
• Audit and optimise testing processes, eliminating waste, flaky feedback loops and manual work.
• Validate experimentation setups, feature flags, analytics instrumentation and A/B tests before and after release.
• Partner with developers to shift quality left, reviewing designs for risk and coaching test‑driven approaches.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, release management, live‑ops monitoring, incident analysis and post‑mortems.
• Mentor other engineers, contribute to internal tooling and documentation, and help remove impediments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional QA or quality‑engineering experience, preferably in games.
• Hands‑on, collaborative and proactive mindset with a passion for building tools.
• Strong product sense and curiosity to discover edge cases before players do.
• Experience mentoring others and driving quality at scale.

Required skills

• Strong coding ability to produce production‑grade automation and internal tools.
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, test design and when to apply them.
• Experience with test automation across client, backend and integration layers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release management and live‑ops monitoring.
