Senior Full Stack Engineer – Autonomous Procurement

About the role

Join Trimble’s Transportation & Logistics division to lead the design and delivery of full‑stack features for the Autonomous Procurement platform. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies such as React, Python, AWS and Azure to create intelligent, automated solutions that streamline freight procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, scalable backend services and APIs (REST, service‑to‑service, event‑driven).
• Architect resilient data models and service designs for high‑volume transaction processing.
• Improve reliability, performance and scalability through profiling, observability and load testing.
• Implement security, data‑protection and fault‑tolerance patterns for critical procurement operations.
• Build and optimise asynchronous task pipelines for automated decisions and carrier notifications.
• Design caching strategies, database optimisation and service orchestration to achieve sub‑second response times.
• Develop high‑performance, accessible user‑facing web experiences and contribute to scalable frontend architecture.
• Own features from specification through rollout, collaborating with product managers and designers.

Required profile

• Senior‑level software engineer with a strong track record of building full‑stack applications.
• Experience working in globally distributed, async‑first teams.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality code autonomously and iteratively.
