Senior Financial Controller – Wealth Management

About the role

BNP Paribas is seeking a Senior Financial Controller for its Wealth Management division in Lisbon. Reporting to the local Financial Controller Team Leader and functionally to the Head of Performance Management Switzerland, the role will oversee accounting, performance reporting and budgeting for the WM business.

Key responsibilities

• Champion continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools and data integrity.
• Perform and review Profit & Loss reconciliations for major revenue accounts across business lines.
• Coordinate with the Accounting Department on revenue, assets, deposits, loans and cost‑of‑risk bookings.
• Load Wealth Management results and KPIs into the Perseus WM environment on a monthly basis.
• Manage the CP2A tool, including data loading, access management and user support.
• Design and maintain WM KPIs, dashboards and monthly performance analyses.
• Conduct variance analysis, root‑cause investigations and support budgeting/forecast submissions.
• Lead performance‑management improvement projects such as automation and advanced analytics.
• Assist with system upgrades, regulatory reporting and audit requests from FINMA/BNS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit, management control or financial reporting.
• Fluent English with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
