Senior Financial Controller – Local Finance

About the role

The Senior Financial Controller will act as a finance business partner, delivering timely and accurate financial analysis to support business units in making informed decisions. You will ensure proper allocation of actuals, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the relationship with business lines, coordinating improvement actions and ensuring correct allocation of actual figures by line and expense nature.
• Analyze, control, and monitor headcount and expenses monthly, comparing actuals to forecasts and budgets.
• Produce management control reports for the Head of Territory and local businesses.
• Maintain balance between accounting and performance management, and oversee forecast and budgeting processes.
• Manage quarterly invoicing to internal clients and coordinate booking and payment with stakeholders.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis for top management and external clients.
• Contribute to transversal transformation projects and continuously improve team processes.
• Support onboarding of new joiners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, banking, or financial operations.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication, organizational abilities, and reliability under strict deadlines.
• Proven expertise in finance and performance analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Word.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.
