Senior Financial Analyst – Credit Cards Finance

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst for Credit Cards at Popular will provide advanced financial analysis, portfolio insights, and performance reporting to support strategic decisions across the credit‑card business, including the PREMIA and Cash Rewards programs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial results, profitability, income, expenses, delinquency and other key metrics for the credit‑card portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports for senior management.
• Investigate variances, identify trends, and communicate opportunities or risks.
• Support annual budgeting and re‑forecast processes, maintaining documentation of assumptions and risks.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis and strategic planning.
• Leverage S/4HANA (or equivalent) to generate reports and analyses.
• Partner with product, risk, accounting, operations, fraud and technology teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial analysis within a credit‑card or banking environment.
• Strong analytical expertise and deep understanding of credit‑card portfolio dynamics.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data into clear insights for senior leadership.
• Proactive communication skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners.
• Knowledge of internal policies, data‑governance standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• S/4HANA (or equivalent financial system)
