Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to join its remote team. The candidate will work on multiple client projects, ensuring reliable delivery pipelines and robust infrastructure while collaborating with diverse technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Write automation scripts in Bash/Shell and Perl to streamline operations.
• Manage Linux servers, databases (Oracle or Sybase) and middleware components such as Tomcat.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Currently residing in Portugal.
• Strong command of English.
