Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning

About the role

Catawiki is looking for a Senior Data Scientist specialized in Machine Learning to join its Data Team. You will be responsible for turning large‑scale data into production‑ready models that improve user experience, optimise internal workflows and keep the platform safe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable machine‑learning models that are integrated into Catawiki’s product offering.
• Explore extensive mobile and web data to identify high‑impact data‑science opportunities.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques to solve real‑world business problems.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, UX designers and other stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end data products.
• Write robust, maintainable code that can be moved to production environments.

Required profile

• Several years of experience building and operationalising machine‑learning models in a production setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dive deep into complex data problems while remaining pragmatic.
• Proven track record of working in cross‑functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Passion for continuous experimentation, iteration and improvement of data‑driven tools.
