Senior Data Engineer – French Speaking (Lisbon/Porto)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is fluent in French to join our team in Lisbon or Porto. You will help build and maintain robust data pipelines that support analytics, reporting and business intelligence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes for efficient data integration.
• Develop and maintain data workflows that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Work with large, complex datasets to ensure data quality, reliability and performance.
• Design and implement data models using SQL and relational database technologies.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, software engineers and business stakeholders.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve existing data platforms and pipelines.
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD processes and best‑practice standards.
• Communicate effectively with French‑speaking stakeholders and international teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in data engineering and pipeline development.
• Fluent French language skills for stakeholder communication.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lisbon or Porto two days per week (hybrid model).
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
