Senior Data Analyst – Power BI & Microsoft Fabric

About the role

Luza is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver scalable business intelligence solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You will translate business needs into robust data models, dashboards, and reporting pipelines while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models following best practices.
• Develop KPI frameworks and advanced DAX calculations.
• Manage Power BI Service workspaces, apps, gateways, refresh schedules, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement Row‑Level Security and enforce access controls.
• Optimize reports and data models for performance and scalability.
• Create Fabric solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Data Factory pipelines.
• Ingest and transform data from SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Support data governance, quality, lineage, testing, and release management.
• Collaborate with technical teams, review solutions, and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modelling.
• Strong SQL and Power Query/M skills, with experience in star‑schema, fact and dimension modelling.
• Experience managing enterprise Power BI environments (workspaces, apps, gateways, deployment pipelines).
• Proven ability to implement Row‑Level Security and adhere to BI governance standards.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
