Senior Controls Technician

About the role

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Controls Technician to join its field service team. You will work directly at customer sites, installing, programming and troubleshooting advanced Trane control systems while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, program and resolve issues on new Trane Controls Systems projects.
• Maintain service contracts, investigate client concerns, implement corrective actions and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Administer and schedule service contracts and assist BAS/Controls project managers with quote preparation.
• Provide on‑site training to customers and document all work with paperwork and maintenance reports.
• Read and interpret drawings and plans, coordinate preventive maintenance and keep contract costs within budget.
• Use backup software and documentation tools for service contracts and keep the equipment list up to date.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, and travel as required.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Engineering, Instrumentation, IT/LAN or related fields, or up to five years of experience in HVAC controls.
• Minimum five years of experience in air‑conditioning or HVAC field work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and programming concepts.
• Experience with IT/software applications used in service contracts.
• Valid category‑3 driver’s license.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
