Senior Consultant – Business Transformation in Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Business Transformation team within Financial Services. You will work with leading banks and financial institutions on complex transformation initiatives that span business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead workstreams in business and technology transformation projects for financial services clients.
• Analyse, design and optimise business processes and customer journeys, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams and executive leadership, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Develop high‑quality deliverables such as presentations, reports and analyses tailored to senior audiences.
• Manage multiple priorities, support project governance and Agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in business consulting, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience in process analysis, design and re‑engineering (BPM, workflows, etc.).
• Experience with customer journey mapping and CX initiatives.
• Hands‑on experience defining functional requirements and user stories.
• Participation in digital or core system transformation programs.
• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum or other iterative delivery models.

• Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Advanced PowerPoint for structured storytelling.
