Senior Collections Assistant

About the role

The Senior Collections Assistant acts as the primary liaison between Toyota Credit Programs (TCPR) and its customers. You will manage overdue accounts, develop repayment plans, and ensure compliance while delivering customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct skip‑tracing on delinquent accounts and prepare related worksheets before charge‑off.
• Obtain supervisor approval for missing liens, charge‑offs beyond 120 days, and agency referrals.
• Submit lien information through AutoReg and document all actions in the system.
• Prepare and send cancellation letters, cure letters, and required forms (e.g., 4019) to support collection and repossession goals.
• Monitor and scan daily collection lists (Cease‑and‑Desist, Skip List, High Risk, etc.) to ensure timely processing.
• Handle bankruptcy accounts in accordance with federal regulations.
• Coordinate agency referrals, track referral status, and document completions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of collections processes and loss mitigation.
• Ability to manage non‑routine situations and resolve escalated client issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards.
