Senior C#/.Net Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem to help modernise our platform. You will work on migrating legacy .NET Framework components to .NET Core, optimise SQL queries, and improve API response times while ensuring high‑performance, low‑latency operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy new features and enhancements using .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Lead technical decisions to improve software architecture and code quality.
• Create and consume NuGet packages, managing dependencies across projects.
• Profile and tune SQL Server queries and optimise distributed cache performance.
• Implement observability with OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch and Prometheus.
• Provide third‑line support for production incidents when required.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience working in distributed, Agile teams using tools such as Jira and Bitbucket.
• Solid understanding of secure coding principles and architectural patterns.
