Senior Buyer – Electronics

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Buyer – Electronics to lead global procurement strategies for automotive electronic components at Bosch Car Multimedia in Braga. You will shape sourcing initiatives, ensure supply continuity and drive cost‑effective solutions across our worldwide network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global procurement and consolidation strategies for electronic materials based on data analysis and market insights.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including ramp‑up, ramp‑down and risk mitigation activities.
• Optimize supplier networks by designing innovative sourcing approaches and alternative solutions.
• Lead bottleneck management to guarantee material availability and minimise production disruptions.
• Negotiate frame contracts and oversee sourcing processes from supplier selection to project award.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and executive stakeholders to align procurement goals with business objectives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain functions within the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier management and strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
