Senior Business Developer – Digital Assets

About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Business Developer to drive growth in our Digital Assets division. You will work at the intersection of finance, innovation, and emerging technologies, helping one of Portugal’s leading banks expand its crypto and blockchain offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business opportunities aligned with Digital Assets objectives.
• Reach out to potential clients via cold calling, social media, and industry events.
• Qualify leads and guide them through the sales pipeline.
• Conduct market research to spot trends and growth areas in the crypto sector.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients and increase revenue.
• Support negotiation of partnerships, collaborations, and contracts.
• Oversee customer support for crypto trading and transaction inquiries.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote crypto products and services.
• Provide regular performance reports and represent the business at industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of business development, sales or partnership experience in cryptocurrency or blockchain.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and establishing strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology and regulatory landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Experience using project management tools.
